Charanjit Singh: Acid from Bollywood

To say that i'm a big fan of acid house would be a lie.
Even though I still remember listening to Acid house tapes that my nephews made for me around 87-89.

I discovered this LP through a review on resident advisor a while back. Charanjit Singh was a bollywood composer during the 60s & the 70s.
His album 'Ten Ragas To A Disco Beat’ released in the early 80s' can be considered as a sort of proto acid house, using a TBT 303 & a TR 808 like no one did before. (in my humble opinion of course, I'm not an expert in acid house)

What I do know for sure, is that I love that sound. It's just amazing.

"Ten Ragas to a Disco Beat" is out on Bombay Connection on LP & MP3 (Soon on CD as well).
